Reflection

Experience
Here we are at the end of the semester, and I look back at it with uneasiness. This journey has been a bittersweet one, though if I am being honest, far more bitter than sweet. I have stumbled, I have broken, and now I emerge on the other side with new scars that affirm my assumptions and give me resolve to continue this journey of mine having passed this detour. I have always had but one mindset, get the job done no matter how hard it may be, at least finish the race even if at last place. But this module has tested my faithfulness to that personal value. I will take this as a reminder, that in order to get where one truly desires to be, there will always be thorns along the path. I will persevere, but if possible I would rather evade.

Observation
I observed that through this module's tasks that I am reminded of the reason to my instincts and the theory behind my practices. However, I also observed that I have become ever more hesitant in my thought process and my ability to create ideas. I must find a way to fix this.

Findings
I have found that while I am somewhat capable in the world of typography, it is far from my optimal performance. While I am adequate at managing existing text and copy, my challenge lies in font design as act of designing letterforms to be unique yet still be their recognizable refined shape is something I struggle with.
