Week 12 - Week 14 Teoh Hoong Boon (Julius) | 0338478 Design Research Methodology Secondary Research (Critical Review) Instructions Week 12 With the final loose ends of the research implementation being tied up, we were to start preparing for our final report and presentation. Feedback: The questionnaire and are done, though I need to work on getting more responses if possible. Work on compiling the data should also begin. Week 13 Below is the report slides for my research. Feedback: I need to work on updating the blog to reflect the results and progress I have so far. I should also hasten work on presentation and report. Week 14 Below is my presentation slides. Feedback: Presentation was well received. One comment to take note is to continue to bolster the number of quantitative results in the time leading up to dissertation so that a better picture can be painted and the trend can be more clearer.

Week 7 - Week 11 Teoh Hoong Boon (Julius) | 0338478 Design Research Methodology Secondary Research (Critical Review) Lectures Week 7 This week we were given another rundown on the basics on data collection and analysis though with a emphasis on primary data collection. We were taught the various methods of gathering data from surveys for quantitative data to interviews for qualitative data. Week 8 This week we were given some extra notes on data collection to aid our research implementation. The first was a more in-depth insight into the nature and theories behind the research methods. The second set of notes gives us insight on another form of research which is visual analysis. Week 4 - Week 7 Teoh Hoong Boon (Julius) | 0338478 Design Research Methodology Secondary Research (Critical Review) Lectures Week 5 This week we were given the rundown on the basics on doing secondary research, otherwise known as critical review. Basically we were told that a critical review is to take an existing research paper or article that is related or similar to our topic of choice and critique the methodology and tactics used in gathering data and drawing the conclusions. Essentially we are basically taking inspiration from other people's research as well as looking out for things we can potentially do better in our own research. Week 6 This week were lectured on the basics of research techniques as well as on quantitative and qualitative research. Week 1 - Week 4 Teoh Hoong Boon (Julius) | 0338478 Design Research Methodology Proposal Lectures Lecture 1: Introduction / Research Problem 03 April 2019 | Week 1 The first class begins with a rundown of the overall subject module booklet, enlightening us on what we can expect in the duration of the semester. We were also given a basic understanding on research, the process of questioning, discovery and investigation and the arrival at potential new conclusions.
