Instructions
As the name of the module suggests, the assignment given to us is to develop a world and two characters based on the idea of "big & small". This can be in the form of parent and child, protagonist and companion and so on. A criteria regardless of the relationship of the character is that one has to be humanoid and ideally the size difference should be somewhat obvious though not immensely necessary.
Task 1: World-building
My concept actually begins further back than the semester. I have had this idea floating about my brain for quite sometime and have actually tried giving form to it before, though not in detail. Considering the nature of the assignment, I figured this was the time to properly give it proper form and narrative with a slight variation in concept.Task 2: Character Concept
Task 3: Character Development
Task 4: Compilation
Reflection
Throughout this module,I had great enjoyment in creating these characters. Even though the process of developing concept can sometimes stagnate and result in burnout, the promise of seeing something one can call their own come to life more than makes up for it.
Truth be told, the only regret I have is not being able to refine some things as much as I would like. Take for instance expressions and poses. That being said, I do not intend for these characters and this world to be a one off assignment. The intention will be to further refine and develop it into something even more presentable for the future.
